Whitney and Jared’s Early Spring Wedding.

Jared and Whitney’s celebration took place on March, 14th 2020. The day before we got news of the fact businesses and schools were shutting down due to Covid-19. At the wedding, chats around the Corona virus were apparent. There was hand sanitizer on several of the tables, everyone was trying to refrain from handshakes and signs of the infamous “Social Distancing” were beginning to form. However, none of it took away from their amazing early Spring wedding

Whitney and Jared found me online back in August of 2019 and after I spoke with her on the phone, I knew she was my ideal bride. When I say “Ideal” I mean our conversations were effortless and I felt like I had known her for years. When we met in person I discovered Jared was just as easy and laid back as she was which made them a perfect pair. They both shared the same excitement for planning their wedding and just oozed positivity and happiness. I couldn’t wait to work with them.

Their March wedding arrived on an overcast but warm day for March. This was also my first time shooting a wedding at the Field Trial Barn located within the Anne Springs Greenway which has always been a dream spot for me. The bright Red barn against the rustic woods background was a perfect setting for photos. Spring colors were just starting to emerge and perfectly complimented the bridesmaid dresses. And speaking of perfect, I think every bride hopes for a big reaction from their groom upon seeing his bride for the first time, and I can honestly say Jared’s tearful reaction was just about as beautiful as Whitney herself. I love everything about this couple and was so incredibly honored to be there for them on such a special day.
